En moins d’un mois, deux chefs de parti ont donné leur démission : Pablo Rodriguez du parti libéral, le 17 décembre, et François Legault de la CAC, le 14 janvier. D’autres députés et ministres ont aussi quitté le navire avant et après eux. Certes, la vie politique n’est pas facile. Mais peu importe la popularité d’un chef ou d’un gouvernement, nous avons besoin que des élus gouvernent et assurent la stabilité de l’économie et des divers ministères publics.
Prions donc pour :
– L’arrivée de nouveaux leaders compétents et inspirants à la tête des partis concernés;
– La bonne gestion des divers dossiers en cours;
– La prospérité économique et sociale malgré ce contexte politique instable;
– La sagesse et la compétence du futur gouvernement qui sera élu en octobre.
CURRENT ISSUE: In Search of Leaders and Stability
In less than a month, two party leaders have resigned: Pablo Rodriguez of the Liberal Party on December 17, and François Legault of the CAQ on January 14. Other Members of the National Assembly and ministers also left the ship before and after them. Politics is certainly not easy. But regardless of the popularity of a leader or a government, we need elected officials to govern and ensure the stability of the economy and the various public ministries.
Let us therefore pray for:
– The arrival of new, competent, and inspiring leaders at the head of the parties concerned;
– The sound management of the various files currently underway;
– Economic and social prosperity despite this unstable political context;
– The wisdom and competence of the future government that will be elected in October.
