Dear Lord, we come to you in deep repentance today on behalf of the province of Manitoba. Forgive us for our pride, lack of integrity and settling for less than the fullness of your plans and purposes for this province. Forgive us for where we have tried to chart our own destructive path. Create in us a clean heart, O God. As the heart of the nation, we ask that you would cleanse all arteries and inner chambers. We ask that You would renew a right Spirit within each and every person who is running for elected office. We ask for clean campaigns with truth coming from the lips of every candidate. We ask for you to renew a right Spirit within every voter in Manitoba, that we would make decisions on who to vote for based on integrity and a righteous platform. Reveal to us what a clean heart and right spirit looks like modelled by our politicians. We bless you and thank you for hearing our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
