Father, we are thankful that we live in a place where we can freely vote and have a voice.As followers of Jesus, we ask that you would reveal to us the times that we have used our voice in a way that is unpleasing to you.
Father, lead us to repentance for a wrong spirit which we have had towards our government and especially towards the individuals who serve us both in government and opposition.
As a provincial election cycle begins, I ask that you give us a right spirit and a clean heart as we pray for those who would take office here and that we would pray, not that our will be done, but that your will be done in our province.
