Heavenly Father,
We come before You today as members of Pray PEI and the Leading Influence Ministry, lifting up the family of the late Mark McLane.
We thank You for Mark’s life—one marked by service, integrity, and a deep commitment to the people of Prince Edward Island. His values shaped every role he held, and his dedication made a meaningful difference in every place he served. We are grateful for the legacy he leaves behind: a legacy of faithfulness, compassion, and steadfast leadership.
In his final role as Minister of Health and Wellness, Mark’s heart for Islanders was unmistakable. His desire for a strong, accessible, and effective health-care system was evident in all he pursued. Even in his unexpected illness and passing, may his example inspire others to continue the important work of building a healthier future for all.
Today, we pray that his family feels the love and care behind every prayer written for Mark—each one thoughtfully prepared by a member of Leading Influence. May the God of Hope surround them with comfort, peace, and strength as they grieve the loss of a son, husband, father, and brother. We also remember his colleagues in the legislature and the many friends who mourn his passing.
We offer all of this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
