Today begins a new week and a new theme as we continue to pray for Saskatchewan’s upcoming election. We’re now on week #3 and the theme is “Intercede.”
In our first week, we anticipated God working. Last week, we remembered some key things about who God is and what he is able to do. This is the week we remind ourselves of God’s invitation to pray about the things that concern us, where we intercede on behalf of the people of our province to ask God to do what only he can do.
Today we pray out of 1 Samuel 12:23:
“Moreover, as for me, far be it from me that I should sin against the Lord by ceasing to pray for you; but I will instruct you in the good and right way.”
Let this be on your mind as you now go to prayer in your own words for our province’s upcoming election.
After you’ve prayed, be sure to share with others so that they, too, will pray!
