Hon. Adrian Dix, Vancouver-Kingsway

God in Heaven, we thank you for the Hon. Adrian Dix, Minister of Health.  We recognize the tremendous weight of responsibility Adrian is carrying and ask that you give him a double portion of Godly wisdom and insight in every decision made on behalf of British Columbians today.  Lord Jesus, thank you that your yoke is easy and your burden light, may Adrian walk in that place of assurance and peace today, Amen.

Adrian Dix was first elected as MLA for Vancouver-Kingsway in 2005 and re-elected in 2009, 2013 and 2017. He is the Minister of Health and Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs. Prior to becoming an MLA, Adrian was the Executive Director for the B.C.-Yukon Branch of Canadian Parents for French, a non-profit organization promoting language education. From 2001 to 2005, Adrian was a political commentator and journalist, writing a column for the Victoria Times Colonist and the Source, a multicultural newspaper in Vancouver. From 1996 to 1999 he was the Chief of Staff to former B.C. Premier Glen Clark. Adrian was raised in Vancouver and is a UBC graduate. He is married to award-winning poet and writer Renée Saklikar.
