Hon. Audrey Gordon, Southdale

Father God, thank you for the Honourable Audrey Gordon. You have placed her in the position she is in, so we ask that you would guide her as she serves and leads. May she be filled with incredible insight and wisdom for all of the problems and issues that arise in the areas that she serves in. Encourage her today and surround her with strong support we pray. Audrey Gordon was elected in 2019, and also serves as the Minister of Health. Prior to serving she was the Director of Strategic Initiatives with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority’s Home Care Program. Prior to joining the WRHA, Audrey worked for the Manitoba Government for 25 years, and held positions in several government departments including Special Assistant to the Minister of Health, Assistant to the Deputy Minister of Labour and Immigration and Director of the Multiculturalism Secretariat. She holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree (Dean’s List), a Bachelor of Arts Degree and a Certificate in Change Management and Certificate in Applied Counselling. Audrey also has extensive public service experience from coaching mini soccer to serving on several health and long-term care organization boards to volunteering with Siloam Mission and the Arthur Mauro Centre for Peace and Justice. Audrey is the mother of two sons and, together with her husband Winston of 33 years, co-owns a transportation company.
