Our Father in Heaven, we know that all governing authority comes from You and that it’s instituted by You. We also know that it is pleasing to You when we are able to live peaceful and quiet lives in all Godliness and holiness, so we pray for those in authority. We pray first and foremost for their salvation. May they all come to a knowledge of the truth regarding Jesus Christ. May they respond to that truth with sincere repentance and faith leading to salvation by Your wonderful grace. And, Father, we pray that the knowledge of truth would be their guiding light in service. Right now, we pray for the Honourable Barb Ramsay as she works to carry out her responsibilities to the people of Summerside-South Drive.. We give You thanks for her maternal heart. As she serves as Minister of Social Development and Seniors, strengthen her commitment to make a difference in the lives of Islanders. May her efforts be for our good and Your glory. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
