Dear Father in Heaven, all honour and praise be given to You. As we consider the Honourable Bloyce Thompson. We think of You as the one who holds all things together. We pray for blessings on all our political leaders and representatives but today we pray earnestly and particularly for Hon. Bloyce Thompson. We thank You for his role as Minister of Agriculture, Justice and Public Safety and Attorney General. We ask that You bless him in every way but especially with peace, strength, patience, and clarity of mind about all things that come to him. Surround him with people who can be supportive and wise in every sense of the word. We pray for his family and those who support him in the operation of his dairy farm as he is not able to be there as in the past. We surrender him to You in all areas of service. Bloyce Thompson was first elected as MLA for District 8, Stanhope–Marshfield, in 2019 and served as Minister of Justice and Public Safety and Minister of Agriculture. Re-elected in 2023, he was appointed Deputy Premier while continuing in those ministerial roles. On December 12, 2025, he was sworn in as the 35th Premier of Prince Edward Island, serving until February 2026. A third-generation dairy farmer from Eastside Farms in Frenchfort, PEI, Thompson has been an advocate for the dairy industry locally and internationally and has held leadership roles within provincial and national organizations. A graduate of Dalhousie Agricultural College, he is active in his community, serving as a coach, volunteer, church elder, and is a proud husband to Terri and father of three.
