Hon. Christine Tell, Regina Wascana Plains

God, we thank you for Hon Christine Tell and her commitment to public service. As she represents the riding of Regina Wascana Plains and functions as Minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety we ask that you give her wisdom in establishing just policy. Grant her compassion and strength as a mentor. May she be an inspiration to countless girls to build confidence and character. Bless and protect Ms Tell and family, in Jesus name. Amen.

Born and raised in Regina, Christine earned her psychiatric nursing diploma from Wascana Institute before graduating from the Saskatchewan Police College. Christine served on the Saskatoon Police Service for three years before joining the Regina city police. Christine served in the Regina Police Association and the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers. In 2007, she was elected president of the Regina Police Association and was the first woman in Canada to lead a major police association. Christine was first elected MLA for Regina Wascana Plains in the November 2007 provincial election. She was re-elected in 2011, 2016 and 2020 and she currently serves as Minister of Corrections, Policing, and Public Safety. Christine is married to Gary Massier and is the proud mother of Regan and Cameron.
