Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that our human mind makes plans but you direct our steps. (Prov. 16:9) Thank you for preparing and directing Christine to serve as minister of Corrections, Policing and Public Safety. We ask that you supply her every need because of your glorious riches. Born and raised in Regina, Christine earned her psychiatric nursing diploma from Wascana Institute before graduating from the Saskatchewan Police College. Christine served on the Saskatoon Police Service for three years before joining the Regina city police. Christine served in the Regina Police Association and the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers. In 2007, she was elected president of the Regina Police Association and was the first woman in Canada to lead a major police association. Christine was first elected MLA for Regina Wascana Plains in the November 2007 provincial election. She was re-elected in 2011, 2016 and 2020 and she currently serves as Minister of Corrections, Policing, and Public Safety and is the Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency. Christine is married to Gary Massier and is the proud mother of Regan and Cameron.
