Born and raised in Regina, Christine earned a psychiatric nursing diploma before graduating from the Saskatchewan Police College. Christine served on the Saskatoon Police Service for three years before joining the Regina city police. Christine served in the Regina Police Association and the Saskatchewan Federation of Police Officers. In 2007, she was elected president of the Regina Police Association and was the first woman in Canada to lead a major police association. Christine was first elected MLA for Regina Wascana Plains in the November 2007 provincial election. She currently serves as Minister of Corrections and Policing, and Minister responsible for Saskatchewan Gaming Corporation. Christine is married to Gary Massier and is the proud mother of Regan and Cameron.
