Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank You for MLA Barkhouse. We thank You for her life and her service to the people of Chester-St. Margaret’s. We pray that she is always protected, supported, and encouraged as she serves. May she look unto You, Father, to help her through the hard times. The Honourable Danielle Barkhouse was first elected to the Nova Scotia House of Assembly as MLA for Chester-St. Margaret’s in 2021 and re-elected in 2024. She was first elected Speaker on September 5, 2024 and re-elected on December 10, 2024. Prior to being an MLA, Ms. Barkhouse was a councillor for the Municipality of Chester. She is Chair of the Assembly Matters Committee. She is also a member of the House of Assembly Management Commission.
