Hon. David Piccini, Northumberland-Peterborough South

Heavenly Father, we are grateful for your servant, the Honourable David Piccini, Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks. We pray that your plans and purposes for him would be accomplished in all that he does. May his work reflect your creative heart as he and his team seek innovative strategies for advancement and solutions to problems. We pray for your blessing on him today in very real ways, that he would recognize your work in his life. Thank you for hearing our prayer, as we offer it in Jesus’ name. Amen.

David Piccini currently serves as the Minister of the Environment, Conservation and Parks and as a Member of the Standing Committee on Finance and Economic Affairs. David grew up in Port Hope and has an honours degree from the University of Ottawa, where he earned a joint degree in Political Science and History. David embarked on a career with the Federal Public Service, first gaining experience as an International Market Analyst at Agriculture Canada promoting Ontario’s agriculture to global markets. He then transitioned to a position as a Policy Advisor at Service Canada. In 2015 David was invited to join the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. David’s portfolio included providing strategic advice in regards to a full range of policy, business and operational issues pertaining to the Royal College’s international activities. David is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys Ontario’s natural wonders with his dog, Max.
