Heavenly Father, we lift up the Hon. Diana Gibson to You today. May this season be one of sweetness, that she would experience the joy of the Lord in her work and family life. Diana Gibson was elected MLA for Oak Bay-Gordon Head in 2024. Diana is the Minister for Jobs, Economic Development and Innovation. Before being elected to the Legislative Assembly, Diana was the Executive Director of the Greater Victoria Community Social Planning Council, where she helped found multiple regional services and programs, including the Greater Victoria Rent Bank. She is also a co-founder and former CEO of the Firelight Group, which has since become Canada’s largest Indigenous-owned consulting firm. Prior to that, she directed a university research institute focusing on social policy where she wrote a best-selling book on health care and built green jobs strategies. Diana and her husband live in Oak Bay-Gordon Head where they are raising their three children and where Diana has been an active volunteer on school community and parent associations.
