Hon. Don Morgan, Saskatoon Southeast

Heavenly Father, we lift up the Hon. Don Morgan to you. You have given him important responsibilities in this government. May the decisions that the Hon. Don Morgan is a part of be pleasing in your sight and serves the people of this province well. In his meetings, may you give him the gift of being wise as a serpent and doing so with the gentleness as a dove. Use him mightily in the days to come. Amen.

Don Morgan was born, raised and educated in Saskatoon. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (College of Law) in 1978 and practiced law in Saskatoon from 1979 to 1988. Between 1988 and 1992, he was chair and CEO of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission and was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1990. He practiced law in Saskatoon from 1992 until 2007. Don also served on the Saskatoon Public School Board from 1999 to 2003, including a term as board chair. Don was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in November 2003. He currently serves as Minister of Crown Investments Corporation; Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety; Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board; Minister responsible for all major Crown corporations, including SaskEnergy, SGI, SaskPower, SaskTel, SaskGaming and SaskWater. Don and his wife Sandy reside in the Rosewood area of Saskatoon.
