Hon. Don Morgan, Saskatoon Southeast

 Father, we are grateful that Hon. Don Morgan has such vast experience as an MLA, as Minister for the Crowns combined with his past experience as Attorney General and Minister for Advanced Education. We ask that you help him to assist with establishing new paths forward for Saskatchewan in critical thinking and future planning. Provide him with favour in a network of relationships now that will support his work in the days ahead. Father, we ask that he would be filled with courage, knowing that you have prepared him for all things. Father fill him with joy and peace as he steps forward to serve as he has been prepared to serve. Amen.

Don Morgan was born, raised and educated in Saskatoon. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (College of Law) in 1978 and practiced law in Saskatoon from 1979 to 1988. Between 1988 and 1992, he was chair and CEO of the Saskatchewan Legal Aid Commission and was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 1990. He practiced law in Saskatoon from 1992 until 2007. Don also served on the Saskatoon Public School Board from 1999 to 2003, including a term as board chair. Don was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in November 2003. The former Deputy Premier currently serves as Saskatchewan’s Minister of Crown Investments Corporation and Minister responsible for all major Crown corporations, Minister of labour relations and workplace safety and Minister responsible for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board. Don and his wife Sandy reside in the Rosewood area of Saskatoon.
