Lord, we acknowledge you are sovereign and supreme. You are worthy of adoration. We pray that the reality of your character and nature becomes a focus for Dustin Duncan today. Our prayer is that as he contemplates who you are that you provide him with new insight and encouragement in how to fulfill his myriad of roles in ways that bring honour to your name. Amen.
Dustin Duncan was first elected as MLA for the constituency of Weyburn-Big Muddy in a by-election in June 2006 at the age of 26. Dustin was re-elected in the 2007, 2011, 2016 and 2020 provincial elections. Dustin has been a member of the Board of Internal Economy, served as Vice-Chair of the caucus Crown Investments Corporation Committee, and was a member of the SaskBuilds Corporation Board. He currently serves as Saskatchewan’s Minister of Education. He was previously Minister of Environment and Minister responsible for SaskPower. Dustin and his wife Amanda were both born, raised, and educated in the Weyburn area. He and Amanda have two sons, Jack and Ephram. Dustin obtained an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Regina.
