Hon. Dustin Duncan, Weyburn-Big Muddy

Father, You have something bigger for Dustin. Something bigger than to settle in and be a life long politician. He is still a young man and one who is capable. Yes, he has served well but something is missing, Father. Lord I ask you to search out Dustin. Reveal to him that which is missing in his life. Find him Lord, in those moments between meetings and appointments. Find him in the quietness of his office at the end of the day. As he ponders life and success, recognition and accomplishment, find him in his thoughts and reveal to him Your understanding, Your knowledge of these things. Father, may his heart begin to yearn for that which is greater than himself and may he find You Father. Amen…….

Dustin Duncan was first elected as MLA for the constituency of Weyburn-Big Muddy in a by-election in June 2006 at the age of 26. Dustin was re-elected in the 2007, 2011, and 2016 provincial elections. Dustin is a member of the Board of Internal Economy, serves as Vice-Chair of the caucus Crown Investments Corporation Committee and as a member of the SaskBuilds Corporation Board. He currently serves as Saskatchewan’s Minister of Environment, Minister responsible for the Water Security Agency and Minister responsible for SaskPower. Dustin and his wife Amanda were both born, raised, and educated in the Weyburn area and have two sons, Jack and Ephram.
