Hon. Eileen Clarke, Agassiz

Lord, thank you for the blessing of Eileen Clarke. Thank you for all the skills and experience she brings to her role in serving the people of Agassiz.  We ask that you bless her today with a comfort and peace that surpasses her own understanding. Lord, fill her with hope and inspiration for the new year and guide her decisions that your work may be done through her hands. Bless her family and keep them safe. Amen.

Eileen Clarke was elected as the MLA for Agassiz in 2016 and again in 2019. She was appointed minister of Indigenous and municipal relations in 2016, and now is minister of Indigenous and northern relations. An entrepreneur and municipal politician, Clarke was an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce for more than 35 years before serving for eight years as the mayor of Gladstone and as the Association of Manitoba Municipalities’ vice-president in 2010. She and her husband Bob have two children and are proud grandparents.
