Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for the Honorable Eileen Clarke. Be her defender and protector, and keep her always on guard. Please give her wisdom to enact laws and regulations so that all citizens can flourish. We pray that she does her work well and as an act of service to You. Eileen Clarke was elected as the MLA for Agassiz in 2016. She was appointed minister of Indigenous and municipal relations in 2016, and now is minister of Indigenous and northern relations. An entrepreneur and municipal politician, Clarke was an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce for more than 35 years before serving for eight years as the mayor of Gladstone and as the Association of Manitoba Municipalities’ vice-president in 2010. She and her husband Bob have two children and are proud grandparents.
