Gracious Lord, we give You thanks for the continued services of the Honourable Ernie Hardeman. We thank You for his diligence as Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. We thank You, Lord, for a leader with a truly discerning heart and the gift of stewardship. We thank You for his agricultural understanding and ask You to bless his work there. Extend to him Your wisdom and grace as he represents the constituents of Oxford. We ask You to bless his wife Rita and their family. Put a hedge of protection around the Hardeman family and give them abundant favour in all they do. We humbly ask these things in the name of Jesus our Lord, Amen…….
Ernie Hardeman was first elected MPP for Oxford in 1995 and is now the longest serving MPP in Oxford’s history. On June 29, 2018 he was appointed Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. Until 1995 Ernie owned and operated Hardeman Feed Ltd. in Salford and served as a volunteer firefighter, retiring as Captain of the South-West Oxford Fire Department. He and his wife, Reta, have three sons and a daughter.
