Lord, you have endowed Gene Makowsky with much skill and talent; the ability to lead, instruct, and influence. He has gained your favour and the favour of his constituents as evidenced by the last three elections. May you, Lord, grant him continued favour, patience to listen, wisdom to understand, and integrity to work for the good of all people. Bless him with joy in all interactions with colleagues as he carries out what may seem mundane or routine at times. May your blessings rest upon him and his family as well. In the name of Jesus I make these requests. Amen.
