Father in heaven, today we thank You for the Honourable Jason Nixon as we lift him up to You in prayer. We thank You for his heart to serve others and for his desire to see other people do well. We ask that You would grant him much wisdom and discernment as he fulfills his responsibilities of the constituents he represents and as the Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services. Bring others around him that will help bring forth Your plans and purposes. Jason Nixon was sworn in as Minister of Assisted Living and Social Services on May 16, 2025. He has previously served as Minister of Environment and Parks, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, Government House Leader, and Minister of Seniors, Community and Social Services. Before entering politics, Mr. Nixon was a successful entrepreneur. He also served as Executive Director at The Mustard Seed, where he managed an addiction treatment facility for several years. Mr. Nixon was first elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre in 2015. He was re-elected in 2019 and 2023. He continues to be an active advocate for his community and province.
