Dear Lord, today we lift up before you Jason Nixon our Minister of the Environment and Parks. Father, we thank you for his heart after you and his desire to serve people of all walks of life. Bless him with wisdom and understanding to properly navigate through the environmental issues that confront him concerning our province including his own riding of Rimbey-Rocky Mountain House-Sundre. Watch over him, his wife Tiffany and their three children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Nixon was first elected in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. Prior to serving, Nixon spent over 25 years volunteering and working for The Mustard Seed, including serving as Executive Director of the organization between 2006 and 2011. He has also been an entrepreneur, owning and operating a consulting business for several years. He was born and raised in Alberta and lives in west-central Alberta with his wife Tiffany and children Markus, Austin and Chyanne.
