Dear Heavenly Father, today we pray for the Honourable Jim Reiter, who serves as Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance. Lord, grant Jim Reiter strength to manage his responsibilities. May You cultivate divine wisdom within him in response to the challenges society faces. Please keep Jim sheltered under Your wings of protection as You guide his paths. May Jim know and experience Your help, insight, and empowerment. Bless Jim with times of renewal, refreshment, and recreation with his family and friends. Jim Reiter was first elected as the MLA for Rosetown-Elrose in the 2007 provincial election. He was re-elected in 2011, 2016, 2020 and again in 2024. Professionally, Jim has extensive experience in municipal governance. He was the long-time administrator for the Rural Municipalities of Marriott and Pleasant Valley. He has served as Director, Vice-President, and President of the Rural Municipal Administrators’ Association (RMAA), as well as Executive Director. Among his educational accomplishments is a Senior Certificate in Local Government Administration from the University of Regina. He also served six years on the U of R Senate. He is currently serving as Minister of Finance, Minister of Immigration and Career Training, Minister of Labour Relations and Workplace Safety, and Minister Responsible for the Saskatchewan Workers’ Compensation Board.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
