Father today we thank you for the privilege of lifting up the Honourable Kaycee Madu to Your throne room in prayer. We speak your supernatural wisdom and guidance upon Hon. Madu as he makes decisions that help keep all Albertans safe. We humbly ask that you would surround him with those that will be a blessing and help lighten the load as he fulfills your plans and purposes through his life. We declare and proclaim Your supernatural protection upon the Hon. Kaycee Madu, his marriage, and his family today in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Kaycee Madu was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, representing the constituency of Edmonton-South West, on April 16, 2019. Mr. Madu serves as Minister of Labour and Immigration. He is a husband and father of three, was born and raised in the Southeastern part of Nigeria. There, he attended the University of Lagos and graduated with a Bachelor of Laws Honours degree. In 2005, he and his wife migrated to Canada. Madu has been a lawyer for sixteen years, practising in both Nigeria and Alberta. In addition to running Tisel Law Office with his wife, Emem, he has worked for Legal Aid Alberta, and volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre and the Lawyer Referral Program of the Law Society of Alberta. Madu has also worked as a senior technical advisor for the Government of Alberta with a focus on legislative and regulatory reviews, operational and strategic public policies, issues management and stakeholder consultation.
