Heavenly Father, we thank You for Hon. Lisa Thompson. Today we pray over her life the peace and joy of God. In her role as Minister of Education and serving the people of Huron—Bruce, we ask that all of her life would be one marked with abiding, inexpressible joy that would spread into the lives of those around her. Please allow her role to be such that positive transformation occurs in the life of each and every person influenced by Lisa and her team. These things we pray in Jesus’ name, Amen……
Hon. Lisa Thompston is the Minister of Education. Lisa was born in Wingham and resided in East Wawanosh, which is located in Huron County until she left for the University of Guelph, where she studied and has a degree in Public Administration and Consumer Economics. Lisa’s professional highlights also include her time as a Rural Community Advisor for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs; Advanced Agricultural Leadership Program, Class 6; and the George Morris Executive Development Program.
