Hon. Lori Carr, Estevan

Father, we thank you for the Honourable Lori Carr today. We thank you for her dedication, and ask that you would fill her with all that she needs as she serves. Grant her wisdom, understanding, and favour in all her interactions as she works for the betterment of our province. We pray that you would bless her family and personal relationships. We pray that they would flourish in every way. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Lori was elected MLA for Estevan in the 2016 provincial election and again in 2020. Living in Estevan with her partner Bart, Lori spent 20 years working as a licensed assistant in a financial planning office. She is very active in the community as a board member for the Air Cadet League, Sun Country Health Region and Ducks Unlimited. Lori also spent ten years serving on Estevan City Council. In 2018, she was appointed Minister of Highways and Infrastructure  and in 2020 appointed Minister of Social Services. She currently serves as Minister of Highways. Prior to this, Lori was a member of the government’s House leadership team as Deputy Whip and had served both the Minister of Finance and the Minister responsible for SaskPower as a Legislative Secretary. Lori has raised three children and is a very proud grandmother.
