Heavenly Father, today we pray for the Honourable Myles McDougall, MLA for Calgary-Fish Creek and Minister of Advanced Education. Thank You for his broad experience as an economist, business executive, entrepreneur, adviser, and teacher. Myles has lived in Calgary-Fish Creek for more than 18 years. During those years, he has invested personally in the community by coaching hockey, baseball, and soccer. His life has also taken him internationally, including to Argentina, where he met his wife, Patricia. As Myles oversees Alberta’s universities, colleges, and apprenticeship system, give him wisdom to understand the needs of students, educators, and employers. Help him recognize how decisions made today will affect Alberta’s next generation. Give Myles clarity, strength, and wise counsel. Bless Patricia, their son, and their family. May his international experience, professional knowledge, and years of community involvement be used wisely as he serves Calgary-Fish Creek and Alberta. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
