Hon. Nathan Cooper, Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills

Dear heavenly Father, today, we ask for your blessings upon the Honourable Mr. Nathan Cooper, MLA for Olds-Didsbury-Three Hills. We ask that you bless his attempts to bring all cultures together and encourage him as he promotes equality. We know the apostle Paul said of you, “For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.” We pray that you help Mr. Cooper as he focuses on destroying that same barrier. In Jesus’ blessed Name we pray, Amen!

Nathan Cooper was elected in 2015 and again in 2019. On May 21, 2019, he was elected by his fellow MLAs to serve as the 14th Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta. Prior to serving as MLA, Mr. Cooper held a number of positions but most recently was chief of staff and director of legislative affairs for the Wildrose caucus.
