Dear Heavenly Father, we ask for protection and favour for Paul Merriman, Minister of Health. May he have a deeper understanding of the needs of the province’s people as they relate to all health issues. Guide him in your ways and keep him near to your listening ear. Let him stand in the arena of honour, seeking justice and truth in all his political dealings – and extend that through to his personal life. Give him a warrior’s heart to fight for the disenfranchised. And continue to wrap your loving arms around his family – keep them safe and secure, warm in the knowledge that You love and care for them. Amen
First elected to the Saskatchewan legislature in 2011, Paul Merriman continues serving his constituency and province following his re-election in 2016. Paul is currently the Minister of Health. He has previously served as Minister of Social Services, Government House Leader, and Government Whip. He also sits on the Board of Internal Economy. Paul and his wife, Leane Durand, have four children.
