Father, as we approach the Christmas season we recall how the angels sang, “Peace on earth,” when they introduced the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. Thank you for the peace that we have today because you have blessed our province and our nation. We give thanks for MPP Bethlenfalvy and the contributions he makes every day that add to the peace we enjoy. We ask, Father, that you will bless him this season and in the coming year with peace of heart, peace in his family, and peace with his co-workers. You have given him a gift of leadership that he is using to bless the people he serves and for that we are thankful. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
Peter currently serves as Ontario’s Minister of Finance. Previously, he was Chief Investment and Risk Officer at CST Consultants. Prior to joining CST, he was Senior Vice President, financial regulations at Manulife Financial, where he was responsible for strategy and monitoring financial regulatory systems around the world. Peter was also President and Chief Operating Officer of TD Securities (USA). In 2014, Peter joined the True Patriot Love Expedition to the magnetic North Pole in support of Canadian military families. He holds both a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from McGill University, and a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of Toronto. He is married and has three children.
