Holy Spirit, we lift up Randy Weekes before you. We ask that you reveal the Father’s purposes for Randy’s life and for his specific time as MLA of Biggar – Sask Valley and as Speaker of the Saskatchewan Legislature. Holy Spirit, we invite you to guide Randy in his dealings with the staff of the Legislative Assembly. That his work with those staff would be engaging and rewarding for him and for them. Father, we ask that you more fully provide knowledge and understanding of his multiple roles and the issues of significance in each of those roles. We ask for more than knowledge, we ask for spiritual and functional wisdom to know how to lead effectively in his personal life, in his MLA role and in his Speaker role. Amen.
Randy was first elected in 1999 as the MLA for Redberry Lake and re-elected in 2003, 2007, 2011, 2016 and 2020 as the MLA for Biggar-Sask Valley.
