Please join me today in prayer for Honourable Ric McIver as he serves in his third term as MLA for Calgary-Hays. He was sworn in as the Minister of Transportation and Deputy House Leader in the Assembly. Lord we lift up Ric McIver to You and ask that You order his steps in all the work that is required of him. We ask for clarity, eyes to see and a steadfastness in all that he does. Lord we pray Your divine protection over Ric, his wife Christine their children and grandchildren. In Jesus mighty name. Ric McIver was first elected in 2012 as the MLA for Calgary-Hays. He was re-elected on May 5, 2015, and again on April 16, 2019. He is a husband and father and has served three terms on Calgary’s City Council. He served on the Police Commission and as chair of the Calgary Housing Company while on Council and is a 12-year volunteer with the Calgary Stampede and supports a variety of charitable causes. Ric McIver was appointed as Alberta’s Transportation Minister on April 30, 2019, a position he has served in before.
