Rick Glumac was first elected as the MLA for Port Moody-Burquitlam in 2017 and currently serves as Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence and New Technologies. He has previously served as Minister of State for Trade, Parliamentary Secretary for Technology, and the Premier’s Liaison to Washington State. Before entering provincial politics, Rick served as a Port Moody city councillor from 2011 to 2017 and held leadership roles in local government organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electronics Engineering from Simon Fraser University and has worked in various high-tech industries, including film animation, video games, and mobile app development. Rick lives in Port Moody.
