Heavenly Father we lift up to you this day Hon. Rochelle Squires. We Thank you Lord for her heart for the people of Manitoba. We ask that you would bless her today with wisdom, discernment, and insight. We pray that you would give her the strength she needs to perform and carry out her duties as she serves Manitobans. We pray this all in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Rochelle Squires was elected as the MLA for Riel in 2016. She served as Minister of sport, culture and heritage until her new appointment as Minister of sustainable development. Currently, she serves as the Minister of Families. A journalist, Squires holds a bachelor of arts in communications from the University of Winnipeg, a master of fine arts from the University of British Columbia and a journalism diploma from Red River College. She and her husband Daniel have a combined family of five children and two grandchildren.
