Shane Simpson was first elected MLA for Vancouver Hastings in May. He was re-elected in 2009, 2013, and 2017. He is the Minister of Social Development and Poverty Reduction. Shane, and his partner Cate, have one adult daughter, and have lived in the same home in Vancouver-Hastings since 1989.
