Dear Heavenly Father, we come to You today to pray for MLA Sidney McEwen. We thank You for his leadership as Speaker of the Legislature. We know that much of the work of the Speaker happens outside of the public eye. We also know that during sessions in the legislature that he is responsible for fair and proper debate. This requires skills, education, and gifts that are specialized to this role, but we also know that it requires patience, kindness, and strength of leadership. We pray for Sidney today to have those gifts in abundance and may he have satisfaction when he goes home today to his family. All In the name of Jesus. Amen.
