Hon Stephanie McLean, Calgary-Varsity

Heavenly Father we lift up
Stephanie McLean before You today and ask that you guide and direct her as she
serves in our government representing Calgary-Varsity.  We thank you for
her past service as Minister of Service Alberta and Minister of the Status of
Women and ask  you continue to enable and empower her to serve in our
legislature with a continued passion for social justice, health care and
advanced education.  Lord, watch over Stephanie, her husband Shane
and their precious little one Patrick.  In Jesus’ precious name we
pray.  Amen.

Prior to serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly, Ms. McLean started a small business practicing law and later partnered to create GTM LLP where she practiced in Family and Criminal litigation.
Born in Calgary and educated in Alberta, Ms. McLean earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy and religious studies at Concordia University College of Alberta in 2008 and received her law degree from the University of Calgary in 2012. Ms. McLean was trained at the law firm of Davidson Gregory Danyluik, the Provincial Court of Alberta under the mentorship of the Honourable Judge Anne Brown and at the Alberta Crown prosecution service.
