Lord of all, we pray for Hon. Steve Clark as he serves Ontarians through the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing. We pray over the work of his hands, knowing that you can provide strength and wisdom in this very important area. We pray for his team to engage in collaborative discussions leading to fruitful efforts. Our knowledge is often limited, but you can inspire us to improve communication, to face challenges, and to take inspiration from each other in our joint focus on delivering programs and services that help Ontarians. Amen!

Steve Clark is the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing. He was first elected MPP for Leeds-Grenville in a 2010 byelection and re-elected in 2011, 2014 and 2018. Steve first gained attention across Canada in 1982 when, at the age of 22 and just out of university, he was elected Mayor of the City of Brockville. Steve served three terms as mayor and, during his tenure, was also the President of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario. Steve also worked in the media and Internet development for 14 years with the Brockville Recorder and Times newspaper and RipNet. Following this, Steve served as the executive assistant for long-serving Leeds-Grenville MPP Bob Runciman. Prior to his election as Leeds-Grenville MPP, Steve was the Chief Administrative Officer for the Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands. Steve is married to Deanna and, together, they are the proud parents of a blended family of five children.
