Tina Beaudry-Mellor was elected MLA for Regina University in 2016. In 2018, Tina was appointed to cabinet as Minister of Advanced Education, as well as Minister responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan and reappointed Minister responsible for the Status of Women Office. She was a long time instructor in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Regina and is the former Chair of Equal Voice and served on the national board. In addition to her academic work, she owned a management consulting business where she did considerable policy work. Since being appointed to the Advanced Education file, she has visited institutions across the province. In 2018, she led the Saskatchewan Alliance on an international education mission in Mexico, where 11 agreements were signed. She also represented the Council of Ministers of Education Canada at the first ever education talks at the G20 in Argentina. In 2018, Tina passed her first piece of legislation, The Saskatchewan Technology Start-up Incentive Act. Tina is the mother of very active teenage twins and is a lover of the outdoors.
