Hon. Tina Beaudry-Mellor, Regina University

Lord, we pray today for Hon, Tina Beaudry-Mellor, MLA representing Regina University, Minister of Advanced Education and Minister responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan and Status of Women. We thank You for her intelligence, leadership and joyful countenance – a cheerful look brings joy to the heart. May her life be shaped by integrity with truth written upon her heart. Tina Beaudry-Mellor was elected MLA for Regina University in 2016. In 2018, Tina was appointed to cabinet as Minister of Advanced Education, as well as Minister responsible for Innovation Saskatchewan and reappointed Minister responsible for the Status of Women Office. A long time instructor in the Department of Politics and International Studies at the University of Regina, Tina is also the former Chair of Equal Voice and served on the national board. She is a former board member of the Saskatchewan Arts Board, the Community Investments Committee of the United Way, and Regina Transition House. At the U of R, she served on the Community Research Unit board. Tina was a political analyst for Global Regina for federal and provincial elections from 2007 to 2015. She owned a management consulting business where she did considerable policy work, most notably on streamlining processes for the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee program and on the Saskatchewan Surgical Initiative to reduce surgical wait times. In 2018, Tina passed her first piece of legislation, The Saskatchewan Technology Start-up Incentive Act. Tina is the mother of very active teenage twins and is a lover of the outdoors.
