Dear Lord God, we thank You for the many years that the Hon. Tom Lindsey has served Manitobans as MLA for Flin Flon and in his important role as Speaker of the House. We ask that You guide him in every decision, protect him in his comings and goings and help him lead well. Thank You for putting Mr. Lindsey in his position of authority. May he continue to represent his constituents and all Manitobans with integrity. Give him a balanced perspective and discernment to lead with fairness when dealing with legislative members of all political parties. We ask too that You shield and protect him and his family, give them quality time together and bring Your peace into their lives. Amen.
First elected in 2016, Tom has over 40 years of experience in Flin Flon’s mining industry and has been a lifelong labour activist. Tom was a volunteer with Safe Workers of Tomorrow and a member of the Flin Flon and District Labour Coordinating Committee, the Steelworkers Northern Area Council and the Steelworkers District 3 Committee. He was also a member of the Minister’s Standing Committee for the Review of The Operation of Mines Regulation for over 20 years. Tom and his wife Sharon enjoy camping, kayaking and golf.
