We praise You, Lord, for Your sovereignty and for placing the Hon. Wab Kinew in his role as Premier of Manitoba. We ask that You surround him with wise and godly counsel—people who would help direct him to do what is God-honouring and best for Manitobans. Help Premier Kinew as he faces many challenges each day. Grant him and his staff discernment in how to respond to the concerns of Manitobans. May he lead our province with honesty and integrity that permeate the legislative chambers. May Premier Kinew’s daily interactions with his colleagues, members of the public sector, and others be respectful and encouraging to him and his team. Wab Kinew is the Leader of the Manitoba New Democratic Party and was elected as the Premier of Manitoba in 2023. Before entering politics, he was a musician, broadcaster and university administrator, best known as a host of programming on CBC Radio an CBC Television. He graduated from the University of Winnipeg Collegiate and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Manitoba. Kinew is married to Lisa, a family physician who practices medicine at an inner-city clinic, and has two sons from a previous relationship.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
