Hon. Whitney Issik, Calgary-Glenmore

Thank You, Father, for Whitney and her desire to serve the electoral district of Calgary-Glenmore.  May her study of economics, political science, and work in the area of retail business assist her in her role as Alberta’s Associate Minister of Status of Women and better the lives of Albertans.  Giver her a laser focus on the priorities that will best serve women in her riding and her province.  I thank you that you are watching over her and her husband and two sons and protecting them.  Guide her and bless her in all that she does.  May she experience rest and rejuvenation in the midst of her had work.  We pray this in the name of Jesus. Whitney Issik was elected as the Member of the Legislative Assembly for Calgary-Glenmore on April 16, 2019. She is the Associate Minister of Status of Women and Chief Government Whip. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly she owned and operated a small business in Calgary for close to 30 years. She has also worked in the telecommunications and energy industries. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Calgary, where she served as vice-president of finance for the students’ union. Throughout the past 30 years she has volunteered her time to a variety of community and sports organizations, and she has been active in politics since 1983. She and her husband have two children.
