MLA Andrew Smith, Lagimodière

Lord I lift in prayer MLA Andrew Smith. I pray for his wisdom and guidance. I ask, Lord, that you would bring ease to mind his duties and tasks that he needs to accomplish. I pray for steadfastness and that he would hold firm to integrity, truth and honour. I pray for courage in the face of uncertainty.
I pray that he would stand for what is right and honourable and good according to you and not the world. I thank you, Lord, that you placed him in the riding of Lagimodiere and that you will guide and direct his path. In Jesus’ Name. Amen……

Andrew Smith was elected to his first term as MLA for Southdale on April 19, 2016. On August 17, 2017, he was appointed as the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage. Andrew was born and raised in Winnipeg and, in his early years, was an active member of Manitoba’s sporting community as an amateur wrestler and weightlifter. Andrew is a graduate of St. Paul’s High School and the University of Manitoba. After university, he began his career in business development and marketing working for Stark International, a petroleum products recycling firm with global reach. For the past 6 years, Andrew has served as a senior staff member for a Manitoba Member of Parliament.
