Today, it is an honour to lift up our dear sister, Mrs. Angela Pitt and her position as MLA for Airdrie-East. As she is a faithful servant of You, Jesus, we ask that You guide her in her service as Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committees. We pray that she would not be ashamed of the gospel, in accordance with Romans 1:16 and that she would let her light shine so that her colleagues would also glorify You, as in Matthew 5:16. Angela Pitt was elected to her second term as Member of the Legislative Assembly for Airdrie-East on April 16, 2019. She currently serves as Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committees. Prior to serving with the Legislative Assembly, she was a small business owner in Airdrie. During this time she also served as president of a local constituency association and was an active volunteer in her community. She holds a business administration diploma with a major in marketing from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT). Mrs. Pitt lives in Airdrie and enjoys reading, gardening, and snowboarding with her husband and two children.
