MLA Bernadette Smith, Point Douglas

Lord, I lift up to you MLA Bernadette Smith. I would ask that you would bless Bernadette in her daily tasks.  I ask for her to be given the wisdom she needs in order to make the decisions to best help and represent those in her constituency.  I thank you, Lord, for Bernadette and ask the you would bless her and he family with peace and love.  Amen.

Bernadette Smith was first elected in a bi-election in 2017 and was re-elected in 2019. She was born and raised in the North End and is a proud Indigenous mother and grandmother. Bernadette is the co-founder of both the Manitoba Coalition of Families of Missing and Murdered Women in Manitoba (CFMMWM) and the Drag the Red Initiative. Also, she annually organizes the No Stone Unturned Concert for Missing and Murdered in Manitoba. Bernadette’s sister, Claudette Osborne, has been missing from Winnipeg since 2008.
