Dear Lord, Brendon Curran has recently been elected to serve the riding of Georgetown–Pownal and is a member of the Education and Economic Development Committee of the Legislature. He is also an observing member of the Health and Social Development Committee. Brendon has been involved in various community projects in the past, including developments at Kings County Hospital. We pray, Lord, that Brendon would learn his new responsibilities quickly and be in a position to help his constituents with their needs. We pray that he would be diligent, open, concerned, and proactive as he fulfills his assigned duties. We also pray that he would look to You for guidance in every decision he makes in his work, leisure, and family life. May he and his family grow closer to You each day, and may they prosper in peace and love throughout their lives. In Jesus’ precious name we pray. Amen.
Born and raised in Alberry Plains, Brendan Curran was elected to represent the residents of District 2, Georgetown-Pownal, in a by-election on December 8, 2025. Growing up around horses, Brendan learned the value of hard work, patience, and responsibility, lessons which still guide him today. His rural upbringing instilled in him a deep appreciation for community, integrity, and getting the job done. Brendan’s passion for public service comes from a belief that government should listen, act, and deliver meaningful outcomes for the people it serves. Whether advocating for critical infrastructure such as the Kings County Memorial Hospital and Georgetown School, ensuring the maintenance and safety of local roads, or helping residents find answers to issues that matter most to them, Brendan is committed to delivering results for District 2. He and his wife Kelsey are proud parents of their son.
